The vast network of different devices around the world that have the capacity to connect to either each other or to the web is known as the “internet of things.” Smartphones and medical devices are just two examples of devices on the internet of things that we use regularly.


Businesses across several different industries have found ways to use internet for problem solving and better efficiency. Gartner, the popular analyst firm, has made a prediction that the internet of things will include at least 26 million devices by or before the year 2020. Even devices as big and important as jet engines and oil drills will be integrated into the network.
