Dr. Rod Rohrich Starts 2018 On The Road Attending Three Major Conferences
Dr. Rod J. Rohrich, a renowned plastic surgeon, and a professor has a very busy beginning planned for the new year. His first stop in 2018 is Miami at the beginning of February. Dr. Rohrich will be participating in the Annual Baker Gordon Education Symposium. In addition to sitting on a variety of panels and giving lectures, he will be performing a live rhinoplasty.
Dr. Rohrich’s next stop is the 21st Annual Global Dallas Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine Meeting, which takes place at the end of February. Dr. Rohrich is responsible for organizing the conference and is also the chairperson. He will also be the moderator for all the panel discussions. The conference will center around the latest surgical techniques used in body contouring as well as surgery to the face and breasts. Cadavers will be used to practice new techniques.
The third conference is the 35th annual Dallas Rhinoplasty Meeting held at the beginning of March. Dr. Rohrich is the chair and organizer of this event. Leaders in the advancement rhinoplasty will be in attendence. A cadaver lab will be available for learning new techniques.
Dr. Rohrich is internationally recognized for is work in the plastic surgery field. In addition to his practice, he is the Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He has received several awards throughout his career. In addition to his career, he is involved in many charities relating to the well being of children. He is responsible for organizing a mobile medical clinic that helps to get immunizations out to members of the community in need. He has traveled to Third World countries to perform plastic surgeries on children and to teach.
